Now that you have moved to a new location, is it a long drive to go out for dinner?

Absolutely not. We are less than ten minutes from the old location and some wonderful restaurants in Saint Albans, less than ten minutes to Fairfax center (check out Stone’s Throw), and a hop skip and a jump to any other place you’d like to go. Plus, you can eat in if you like since every guest now has access to a full kitchen and dining area, barbeque grill, and lush grounds to picnic on.

Is breakfast included?

No, breakfast is not included but may be added on. Since we have gone to great lengths to give our guests what they have asked for—kitchens!—we have changed the way we handle breakfast. Your accommodation is stocked with orange juice, coffee, teas, and breakfast goodies like protein bars, for example, that you can help yourself to whenever you would like. If you decide to add on breakfast, we ask that you reply to the email you will receive a couple of days prior to arrival and let us know. In that case, your breakfast will be prepared and waiting for you in your refrigerator so that you can enjoy
it on your time instead of our schedule.

If I order breakfast, what kinds of foods may I expect?

KarenMarie prepares many of her guests’ favorites like egg and cheese tarts, homefries, fruit pancakes, organic chicken sausage, fresh fruit, muffins, and more. You can indicate your preferences when ordering.

Is there free Wi-Fi?

Yes. Be sure to look for the information sheet inside your accommodation for the WiFi password and other important information.

Do we share a kitchen or living room?

Sora’s Suite and The Nest share a large living and dining area and kitchen. There is never more than one other couple in them with you, if at all. Meadow’s Suite is a stand-alone accommodation and as such is completely private.

What is the closest airport and/or train station?

Burlington International Airport is approximately 18 miles away, about a 30-minute drive. Plattsburgh Airport is just across the lake, about 45 minutes away, and Montreal isn’t much farther. The closest train station is the Amtrak Station in Saint Albans, about ten minutes away.

Do I need to pack my passport?

We highly recommend packing your passport since the Canadian Border is less than 20 miles away, and Montreal is about 60 miles from here.
